Jeff Rummel is an associate professor in the practice and is part of the Information Systems and Operations Management department in the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. I joined the faculty here in January of 2009. My previous positions were at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University (1986-1995), and at the University of Connecticut (1995-2008). While at UConn, I served as an associate dean of the business school from 2001-2006. My PhD is from the Simon School at the University of Rochester.
I helped start St. Paul’s Collegiate Church in Storrs, CT, and am now an active “doorholder” at Passion City Church here in Atlanta, and with the Passion Conferences for college students around the world. I also serve with the committee for Young Life in Johns Creek, GA.
This is a picture of my wife and I sitting on a wall at Piazzale Michelangelo, overlooking Firenze, Italy. I taught a class for UConn and the Institute at Palazzo Rucellai during the summers of 2006-2008.
